Wow. We finally have a website!
If you’ve been with us since or before 2020, you may be familiar with our website journey, specifically during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when we shut down the shop and built a website with delivery and pick-up services within 24 hours to keep our customers safe. It was a time when so much was unknown and unpredictable. We didn’t know what we were doing, but we felt it was the right thing to do.
Fast forward to 2024, we have reimagined our website to become an online tool for the community to explore the intersection of food, culture, and identity.
Our mission has always been about more than feeding people – we want to nourish the body, mind, and spirit. To us at Mama Fang’s, food provides us with fuel and with perspective, so it should be treated with the respect it deserves. With that in mind, we aimed to launch this website as a one-stop shop for our customers to learn about the people, stories, and intentions behind the ingredients sold at our market, and we hope to encourage more curiosity about what’s in your (and our) kitchen.
